Country Meat (Selsko Meso) Pork With Caramelized Onions
Ingredients
  • 1200gr Pork Buttcut in 2 inch pieces
  • 1 kg onionscut in half and sliced verticaly
  • 500gr mushroomscut in half
  • 1teaspoon ground red paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 300gr cow soft cheeseor cheese of your choice
Instructions
  1. Put the meat to boil in a large pot filled with water, and the onions in another-for about one hour on medium heat. While boiling add some water if needed.
  2. After one hour, drain the onions and the meat and transfer to a bigger oiled pan or skillet, add in the bay leaf, mushrooms, red smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.Stir well and bake in preheated oven at 200 °C or 400° F, for about 40 minutes.
  3. Add the cheese and bake for another 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
