I remember since I was a little girl, I was always excited when my grandma was making donuts; I won`t lie I still am.My grandma would roll the dough, and I would cut them with a glass, the old-fashioned way. They are so tasty on their own just dusted with powdered sugar.
Very simple with ingredients you already have in your home. The dough is soft, comfortable to work with and the best part is that you can fry them once you make the dough. If you have more time you can let it rest but is not necessary.
Instructions
- In a big bowl add the warm milk, the sugar, and the dry yeast.Let it sit for 5 minutes to activate. Then add the yolks, vanilla, butter, and salt and mix well. Start adding the flour while mixing with a wooden spoon.
- Dip the donuts into Nutella or glaze them or simply dust them with powdered sugar, choose whatever suits you the most, they are delicious in every way.
Recipe Notes
- put all the flour at once: The more flour.
