Tahini is one of the leading ingredients in Hummus and Halvah. This sauce is made of toasted ground sesame seeds and is an excellent source of calcium when incorporated into your diet.
It is ridiculously easy to make and can last in the fridge up to one month.

Instructions
- Add the sesame seeds in a stainless skillet, and toast them on medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir constantly since the seeds can burn easy. Let them cool.
- Pour the seeds into a food processor and process until powder, add the oil and the salt.Continue mixing the seeds up to desired texture. About 2 minutes or when seeds become a smooth paste.
- Pour the Tahini into an air-tight container and keep in fridge up to 4 weeks.
